Affiliation: NONE My Inspiration: First and foremost, I was inspired to rap
by Big Pun, Rakim, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Jay-Z, A Z, Wu-Tang, and
Red Man. My Story: I began rapping at the age of 12. I started off
freestyling with my goons, TJ AKA Cast Murk and Danny Rivas (R.I.P.) on
them street cornaz representing Plainfield 100%. Ever since then I been
working hard on perfecting the art of rhyming and expanding my vocab,
educating myself by reading dictionaries and thesauruses and of course by
marinating the street sophistication over the years of thuggin. Word Up!
Yo, I grew up in the gully streets of Plainfield, N.J. or as I would call
it PLFD! I was brought up in tha Bricks as a fatherless child, raised by a
single mother (Betsy Miranda) who taught me to be independent, strong
minded, and to be real with myself before anyone else. In my 24 years of
living I've learned that, in this world if you want something you gotta
make it or take it! As a kid I started hustlin at the age of 12 throughout
my neighborhood. By the age of 13, I became a stick up kid, robbin victims
with no remorse, and catchin cases back to back. At 14 I caught a first
degree Armed Robbery case. Thats when my mother found no other choice than
to send me to Chi-Town to live with my father whom I despised. By the time
I turned 15 I was livin with whatever female I was with at the time, and
hustlin whatever I could get my hands on. As time kept tickin, I began
building a reputation and earning my respect in every hood I ran through,
from Plainfield NJ to Chicago IL to Calumet city IL to Hammond IN to East
Chicago IN where I became part of the Outfitt. In the year 2000 we dropped
our first project called"Welcome to Indiana". Then in 2002 we dropped our
second project called "Ain't Shit Gonna Change". Then in 2003 we dropped a
mix CD thats was mixed by Chicago and Power 92's own DJ Kid Scratch which
was never put on the market, we just gave it away for promotional purposes.
Now in 2006 I was able to drop my first solo album titled "Gangsta Poetry"
right before I was sentenced to 5 1/2 years by the Department of
Corrections in the state of Indiana. Now I'm moving units in the streets
while sittin in a cell counting down days till my release date. 5 1/2 years
is a blessing beleive it or not! I was facing 64 years on trial! Since
money talks and bullshit walks, my lawyer (Sam Cappus) was able to get me a
very beneficial plea bargain, which by the way, has been signed and sealed!
HaHa! For all those that know me, you know I'm as real as they come! Im
servin time cause I kept my lips sealed! For those of ya'll that don't know
me, ya'll better recognize the realness and respect tha Puerto Rock Kid!
Word is Bond! A Yo, as for my family, friends ,and fans, I'd like to thank
each and every one of you individually for all the support and all the love
ya'll showed me over the years. And for my dogs in the street, KEEP BANGIN
MY MUSIC AND KEEP GRINDIN! Word Up! Love and Loyalty Always, Al Koleon aka
Da Heart of tha Streets!
