Bio
D.ROSE, born Don Rose on December 31, 1982. He is a master in the art of
story telling and his ability to take real life situations and add an
artistic twist is compelling and educational. Many of the songs written and
recorded are from his own life experiences growing up in Babson Park, FL,
in a single parent home. Around age 11 he experienced a difficult loss in
his family. His older sister, Tonia Hawthorne, was murdered and by age 13
he lost his mother. In 2001 he got his first taste of recording,
engineering, and producing music while attending Gannon University, were he
refined his story telling abilities. Through his life, he has overcome
adversity in order to be the man he is today. Those experiences and others
were his motivation in becoming an emcee. His impact on the Hip-Hop
community will be felt for many years to come.
D. ROSE from nothing and is determined to live his dream of becoming the
next Hip Hop legend.
