Shelton "Ebonics" Long is a 18 year-old self proclaimed MC, songwriter, and break-dancer who has been making music and entertaining for quite a few years. He has shown self improvement and continues so strive to do the best he can. Ebonics began recording in his friend's basement studio, but has now moved on to a professional recording studio. Ebonics is represented and managed by World Wide Talent Search and Mondo Music Productions. Ebonics is one who speaks about the truths of life and the problems people experience daily. His lyrics range from dealings with and experiencing relationship problems to having to put up with fake people and individuals that appear to be more than they actually are.

Ebonics expresses his feelings through his music as well as through the many life experiences that he deals with and knows others can relate too. Not all of Ebonics music is about the struggles and obstacles life puts in front of you, it's about how to deal with these problems and over-come them and make your dreams and goals come true. Ebonics is very humble individual, and he gives all artists around him the same respect, credit, and treatment that he would expect from others.
