Bio
In the hip hop game its getting harder and harder to enter for
an unsigned hype. Mainly, an emcee needs to keep going with their hustle.
That’s more then what you can say for hip hop artist Jaxx. Born out of
Brooklyn, New York and raised in North Lauderdale, Florida. Jaxx has been
creeping in the game for the past eight years starting as a ghost writer
for some underground artists.
In the year of 2003, he was invited to Nova University by DJ First
to freestyle and battle weekly on 87.3 FM. DJ First gave comments about
Jaxx being the next big thing. After a few years he went hiatus to work
more on his craft. By 2006 he did a feature on “Diamonds remix” off a
mixtape called Full Grip Records present “Business as Usual” Surprising
many people with his return on the cameo he was invited to perform at a
local night club in Hollywood, Florida. His performance was the highlight
of the night said night club promoter Victoria. This brought anticipation
for his next big step.
On January 11th 2008 he released his first mixtape ever titled
“Broken Exile”. Giving his fans a piece of what he’s cooking up. Not
wasting any time taking a break he went straight to work on a EP album
titled “Ground Zero”. The project was released July 18th 2008. His
single “Let’s get away” was debut on the station 1550 AM. On August
8th 2008 threw a album release party and exploded with a incredible
performance said DJ Rush. On to the next chapter with no time gone to
waste, Jaxx began work on another project. In just two months he recorded a
13 track LP album titled “Blood water”. It was released on February
13th 2009. He has been getting many responses for his new 2009 single
“Ride wit me”. Currently Jaxx has been hard at work in the studio
working on a new album called “Project 13”. It is being prepped for a
March 2010 release on indie label Semtex Music Group. DJ Baby J out of
Allentown, Pennsylvania has given his vote to Jaxx that he could be the
next LL Cool J. Only time will tell what’s next for this next big
star.
