Definite is a messenger to the masses that enlightens the music lover's
thoughts about life and love.

Substance has always been a focus for Definite since he wrote his first
raps in 1998. Starting with a battle crew called Ill Flava consisting of
only the illest emcees at the time in San Pedro, CA. Later Def was in a
truth sayers group w/Blu (CRAC) and T-Nasty (Glory) called Animus Vibe. The
group approached the gospel hip hop scene with a vibe that was fresh,
compared to the stereotypical perception of gospel hip hop.
In 2003, Definite and Tony Tig started a group called Breakin Rules. Their
first album titled "We Here Now" was released with Soldier Records, making
an impact in the Southern California region. The project included life
changing songs like "The Passion" produced by J.Doza and reality awakening
songs like "This Hard" produced by T-Nasty.
