Bio
Zswagg formally known as Zaire Simba was born in New York city to Linda
Walker and Askia Simba.
Zaire relocated to Akron Ohio at the age of five months were she continued
her life. Zaire developed
a passion for poetry at the tender age of eight. She began writing short
stories before transforming
over to rap and hip hop style of music. By the age of eleven Zswagg was
introduced to a local studio
were she began to record her own original lyrics. Soon after Zaire began
writing rhymes for artist
residing in the Akron area were she then began to develop a buzz for
herself. At the age of seventeen
Zswagg was entered into open mic competions which is how she learned to
gain exsposure as well a stage
pressence. Time continued to go on
Zaire graduated from central Hower High School were she then furthered
her education at the National
Institute of Technology earning her associates degree as a buisiness and
clinical specialist. Still eager
to become the next femcee phenomenon Zswagg continued her music releasing
her freshman album in 2008 GROWN WOMAN
HUSTLE, followed by her 1st mixtape MIDWEST SOUTHERN EDITION. She's
collabed with artist all around the globe
and has opened for big names such as DJ DRAMA,PROJECT PAT, WU TANG KLAN jus
to name a few. Soon after releasing
her sophmore album SPEAKING INTO EXSISTENCE followed by her 2nd mixtape
world wide venom.
Zswagg has been interviewed on countless numbers of internet radio and
has performed all over Ohio making
a name for herself. winning the Battle ground challenge on LL cool j's
website boomdizzle.com IN 2010 Zswagg
was rewarded and still remains an allstar on the website. Neighborhood diva
which will be Zswagg's 4th mixtape
is set to release this year. Her exsplosive performances and sharp
punchlines sets her apart from most femcees today
