After changing his name from Defman, La Quarters…… Christavelic came to
his senses and got himself a name that best describes who he is and what he
does. Growin’ up in an average brother neighborhood, Christavelic had the

With a lot of inspiration from greatest beat makers like Hi Tek, Pete rock,
Jus blasé… CHRISTAVELIC came up with a new era in hip hop music “the
melodic hip-hop” which consists of the old school beat with a little
touch of melody to it. “I don’t know…. I always loved the BASE SOUND
and so I thought if I had melody accompanying it… that’ll be fresh and
chill…” he later gets saved directing his career in a gospel sound…
