About Tiffany Carter
She was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. She started out as a
child singing in church every Sunday during testimony time until finally
becoming a permanent member of the choir. By the age of 18, she had reached
an audience large enough to land her a coveted spot on the St. Paul Winter
Carnival’s stage. With influences ranging from Aretha Franklin and Nora
Jones, to Jill Scott, Lauren Hill, and Brian McKnight, She has grown to
capture a soulful sound that is unlike any other. Whatcha Gonna Do, and
Loving you have been in consistant rotation on KMOJ in the Twin Cities
area.
Tiffany Carter has recorded several music projects with multiple
producers, which played a major part in developing her vocally, but none
like the 2006 release of her debut album, ‘Mama's Baby’. Anyone that
has this album will say It's truly a classic. She has been categorized at
times as a Neo-Soul artist, but then there are very strong Jazz and Soul
roots as well. Her music is for everyone, and the songs are written from
real life experiences that give people an opportunity to know the real
Tiffany Carter. She enjoys live performances and states, “I love when the
audience is singing along and vibing with me musically, and it’s
priceless.”
Currently, Tiffany Carter is working with an array of producers on her next
project, of which, a single is dated to release early 2010. Ladies and
gentlemen...this is the future of music...so stay tuned….
