Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, Q.O.D. won many poetry contest. It was not until her college years when she put her writing to a beat.

She shies away from the typical image of the female rapper. She is quoted saying "I want to bring Da Brat back".

Rapping about what she sees and what she's been through from being a single mother and hitting rock bottom to finding peace within herself, has given her respect among her friends and producers.

Her third album "Chronicles of LAW" is scheduled to be release April 2009.
