Bio
Jamaican born brooklyn raised I was born in a city in Jamaica called St
Marys. I am not the only child in my family. I have three sisters and and
one brother. My family and I migrated to the United States in 1983 being
from a Caribean country we did not know what to expect. From the age of six
I sang songs from Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Micheal Jackson and many others,
thats when my parents saw that I had love for the art form. If a song I
liked came on the radio or a movie on tv had singing or dancing in it I was
glued to the radio or tv. I started dancing in high school at age 15, I was
in the 10th grade thats around the same time I started gymnastics, I loved
brake dancing, gymnastics fitted right into it. The High School I went to
was Erasmus Public High. I auditioned for the School and got in as an Art
Major looking for a break. The next 4years I was an Artist,Gymnast and took
Drama classes. I was very happy at that point in my life. To create things
with my voice and body and to see people faces light up when I showed my
talent was a great feeling. At 19 I joined H.S.A thats Harlem School of the
Arts, there I toured as a dancer traveled, did shows and I think that all
helped prepare me to become who I am today. To look back on my life today I
will say I enjoyed it all. http://www.youtube.com/kenny1979swiff
