Bio
My name is Bernard Walker aka Bernie Black. I have been writing and
recording music for over 10 years. I am the middle of 3 children. My sister
and brother pursued and are pursuing their dreams through the traditional
college path. However, I decided long ago to pursue my dream of creating
music for the world to enjoy. My music has a jump-out-and-pull-you-close
effect when a person hears it.My music is fresh and it reflects my life
experiences. In addition to recording my own music, I have been very busy
recording other struggling artists using my mobile recording studio. I am
also a substitute school teacher for the local county school system. I
dedicate my music to my sister Charmane who left this earth in 2006 in a
car accident leaving me with a lot of hurt and other feelings that can only
be expressed through music and song. The inspiration for my music comes
from my family high points and the low points.
