Growing up in a small town known as "Da Gas-House" (Gastonia, NC), and surrounded by drugs, AIDS, and prostitution, Scorch (Born Joshua Byrd) felt at a tender age that his passion for music will make a difference in his life. Now residing in Raleigh, NC, at the progressing age of only 23 years old, Scorch is destined to make a name for himself as well as his home city. He produces and arranges his own music, as well as his lyrics. "Confidence and faith is the key" is the motto he lives by.
