Bio
My Bio: I was born Lee Milton Beasley Jr. to Janice Laster and Lee Milton
Beasley Sr. on June 30, 1976. As a young man growing up in Enid, Oklahoma I
was very active in sports like football, basketball and track. But I also
became interested in the streets, gambling and music.
When I was in high school, I learned that as long as you ignore the truth
you're OK, but if the lord forbid you to speak the truth now it create
problems.
I didn't understand that side until I organize the walk out in high school
to protest the lack of playing time for black basketball players.
All the black students had my back until the coaches and the school
officials got mad. (Even my parents got spooked).
That act of rebellion, the music and the streets that's when Derby Mak was
born, named after my great grandfather Ice Pick Derby and schooled by my
grandfather Estell Laster a thick blood line of hard but fair teachings. I
learned to love, no matter the odds.
My goal on this mission is to touch and help just one person get get
through the day. If more followed then let nature take it's course. All I
ask is that you listen.
